Xaloq is a quintet born in Rotterdam (Netherlands)founded by Pau Jordà in 2021, as a result of his desire to explore and combine the Valencian musical tradition with jazz.

By 2022, Xaloq started performing their music live in several stages, including the Codarts Talent Stage at the North Sea Jazz Festival and the Brand New Jazz Festival at Lantaaren Venster.

After a break, the band came together by the end of 2024, releasing their first single "Bolero de Guadassuar" and going on their first tour outside the Netherlands, performing at various venues around the Iberian Peninsula.

Currently, Xaloq is preparing for the release of their debut album titled "Quan veja que ja no cante", while also organizing their presentation tour.
